BA commemorates United Nations 60th anniversary

Alexandria, 22 November 2005—To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the United Nations, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA), as a UN depository library, is holding an exhibition upon the request of the UN; that will continue till mid-December 2005. All depository libraries, are participating in this worldwide exhibition; this will publicize the existence of the UN collection and UN research expertise in these libraries.
The exhibition includes numerous posters and publications related to twelve major areas of UN activities summarized in the UN Milestones poster which is the centerpiece of the exhibition.
The BA invites its patrons to attend this exhibition at the UN depository library (level F2).
