A Palestinian Evening at the BA

Alexandria—The BA Arts Center, in collaboration with the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo, organizes a celebration on the occasion of choosing Jerusalem as a Capital of Arab Culture 2009, on Thursday 3 September 2009. The celebration is held under the auspices of General Adel Labib, Governor of Alexandria, and Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria.
An exhibition of Palestinian Folklore will be held, including handmade items such as traditional clothes, gowns, foulard, paintings and books. A performance of Folklore Dance will also take place during the celebration.
The Exhibition is held at the BACC East Exhibitions Hall and will be opened at 10:00 am, while the Performance will take place at the BACC Great Hall at 10:00 pm.
