The BA Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center (Alex Med) has published a book entitled Notre Dame de Sion à Alexandrie: Une éducation exemplaire (Notre Dame de Sion in Alexandria: An Exemplary Educational Model) by Dr. Azza Heikal.

The book features 21 articles documenting oral accounts and stories of students of Notre Dame de Sion School in Alexandria in the mid-20th century, many of whom are now scattered across the globe. These articles recount each student's memories of the school and the education system at that time, as well as some of their experiences with their teachers.

The book also highlights the role of schools as one of the most important institutions that embodied the cosmopolitan spirit of Alexandria, with its values of multiculturalism, tolerance, and openness. These vivid narratives evoke the spirit of generosity and coexistence that characterized the city of Alexandria in the mid-20th century.
