“Financial Awareness and Literacy” in a Seminar at the BA

The BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program is organizing a seminar entitled “Financial Awareness and Literacy: Building a Secure Future for Your Family” on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, at 5:00 pm at the Conference Center’s Delegates Hall.

The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Sherif Abdel Ghani, Assistant Professor of Finance and Investment at the Faculty of Politics, Economics, and Business Administration at May University in Cairo, as part of a scientific and practical vision for effective financial planning.

The seminar aims to raise awareness of the importance of financial literacy and its role in achieving family stability, and highlight the fundamentals of sound financial planning that contribute to the economic security of individuals and families.

It will address a number of key topics, foremost among which is the basics of financial literacy, which focuses on the key concepts of financial resource management, the importance of saving, rationalizing spending, and building sustainable financial awareness.

The second topic will focus on personal financial planning strategies, reviewing mechanisms for developing financial plans, managing income and commitments, and achieving short- and long-term financial balance.

This seminar is part of the BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program’s interest in supporting economic empowerment and financial awareness as pillars of sustainable social development.
