A High-Level Chinese Delegation in a Visit to the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina received today Mr. Sun Dongsheng, Deputy Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee at the Institute of Party History and Literature of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
Mr. Dongsheng presented the BA with a collection of the Party publications, as the delegation toured the institution to learn about its various specialized libraries and museums.
He expressed his admiration for the Library collections and services, and showed interest in strengthening cooperation between the BA and the National Library of China, with the aim of exchanging experiences and encouraging communication among cultures and civilizations.
