The BA Hosts Alexandria’s Entrepreneurship League Qualifiers

The BA Center for Special Studies and Programs hosted the qualifiers of the "Alexandria Region Entrepreneurship League", on Wednesday, 14 August 2024, at the Conference Center. The event, organized by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, was part of the activities of the first season of “Egypt Entrepreneurship League Competition”, which aims to promote science, technology, and innovation.

The Alexandria region featured 22 projects submitted by eight universities and research centers, namely Damanhour University; Matrouh University; Alamein International University; Egypt-Japan University; Pharos University; Borg El Arab Technological University; the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries; and the City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications. The committee was chaired by Prof. Yousry El-Gamal, former Minister of Education, and included representatives from the business and investment community, the field of communications, and the field of small and medium enterprises.

Participants presented their projects, some of which were related to programming technologies and artificial intelligence, and others related to agriculture, health, and industry.
