Posted on

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, through the Cultural Outreach and Information and Communication Technology Sectors, is organizing the Francophone Digital Network Meeting on Thursday, 22 June 2023.

The Francophone Digital Network (RFN) is one of the 26 largest Francophone documentation institutions. Comprising 19 countries, this network aims to make the documentation of Francophone heritage accessible online through a single platform targeting Francophone audiences around the world. Hence, major institutions have decided to unite under the name of one network for the preservation and dissemination of this heritage, with the active support of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has been a vital member of the Francophone Digital Network since 2006. Through its platform, the Library will provide a number of digital books on the following topics: French, history, human rights and the interaction between communities in the economic, social and scientific fields.
