Awards of the Egyptian Writers Union Competition distributed at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is hosting the second day of the First Literature Conference of the Egyptian Writers Union, organized by its two branches in Alexandria, Egypt and Banzart, Tunisia, on 16 January 2005.

The prizes of the competition will be distributed during the conference to the winners. This comes within the framework of the protocol signed by the two countries. The poetry award was shared equally by the Egyptian poet, Abdel Moneim Salem and the Tunisian poet, Abdel Kerim El Khalky; while the story-writing award was shared by the Egyptian writer, Diaa Taman, and the Tunisian writer, Saleh el Dams.
