BA Closed on Christmas Day

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina will be closing its doors to the public on Christmas day, Saturday 7 January 2023. It will open on Sunday, 8 January 2023, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Regular opening hours will resume starting Monday, 9 January 2023, as follows:
Main Reading Area:
Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Saturday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Visits, Museums, and Planetarium Science Center:
Sunday to Thursday: 9:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Saturday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Children's, YP and Taha Hussein Libraries:
Sunday to Thursday: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm.
Saturday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (except Taha Hussein Library, which will be closed).
