The BA Celebrates 52 Years since the Frogmen’s Offensive on the Port of Eilat

On the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the third operation of the Frogmen’s Offensive on the Israeli Port of Eilat, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, under the leadership of Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, organizes a celebration that will be attended by a delegate of the Navy Commander, Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, Captain Omar Ezzeldine, and Captain Nabil Abdel Wahab, as well as several military figures and civilians in the Alexandrian community, with the participation of the real heroes of the operation.
The operations’ heroes are expected to meet with the filmmakers of The Road to Eilat, including Director Inaam Mohamed Ali and Director of Photography Saeed Shimy, together with actors Hany Kamal, Mohamed Abdel Gawad, Alaa Morsi, and Critic Magda Maurice.
The event will be presented by Marwa Atef, who will talk to the military heroes about their cherished memories of this operation, and will discuss the filmmakers’ experience while shooting their film. Additionally, a number of documentary films will be screened as part of the celebration.
