"Reading in Egyptian Mummies and Coffins" in a Seminar at the BA

The BA Antiquities Museum and the Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology, in cooperation with Egypt Heritage Association, organize a seminar entitled “Reading in Mummies and Egyptian Coffins”. The seminar is held on Wednesday, 22 December 2021, at 10:00 am, in the Auditorium Hall, BA Main Entrance.
The first lecture, given by Dr. Zeinab Hashesh, Lecturer of Egyptian Antiquities at Beni Suef University, and a Member of the Board of Directors of Egypt Heritage Association, tackles Egyptian mummies and how to date them. The second lecture, delivered by Dr. Nihad Kamal El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Egypt Heritage Association, and the Head of the Egyptian Antiquities Department at Mansoura University, explores Egyptian coffins, their types and development over ages, as well as their historical implications.
