Children and Young People Summer Programs at the BA

In its attempt to play an active role within the community, the BA focuses its activities on public outreach. The Library creates special outreach programs that serve the needs of public, especially children, young people, and people with special needs in and around Alexandria.
 

Primarily interested in developing their young users’ skills and enriching their knowledge, the Children’s and Young people’s Libraries, the BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC), and the BA Child and Adolescent Creative Unit hold stimulating summer activities. The summer programs cover wide range of activities including arts and crafts, puppet-shows, book-talks, competitions, computer and research classes, theatrical performances, fun with science activities, Planetarium shows, scientific films, visits to the History of Science Museum, as well as other special programs The BA also provides experimental hands-on training and artistic workshops that complement school syllabi.
