The BA Young People’s (YP) Library celebrated the World Wildlife Day; a day set by the United Nations (UN) on 3 March of each year to celebrate wild animals and plants. This year’s theme was “Listen to the Young Voices”, and the day’s activities targeted 10–24 year old children and young people.

The YP Library organized the celebration in cooperation with Animal Zone. Students from various schools participated in the event with researches on wildlife in Egypt, sea turtles, and Egypt’s policies and regulations concerning wildlife.

The celebration also included an exhibition showcasing the photos and drawings of the submitted researches. The competition's committee honored all the participating students and schools, and awards were given to the students with the most outstanding research papers, photos, or drawings.
