Domou’ Iblis in a Play Reading at the BA

Posted on

Alexandria—The Reference Services Unit is holding its monthly play reading in Arabic on Wednesday, 27 May 2009. Participants will read Domou’ Iblis (Satan’s Tears) by Fathy Radwan.

The wife was everything in that calm house; her death brought about an abrupt change to everything. Aasmaa was a symbol for goodness; she lived for the people until a strange young man appeared in the village. He was referred to as the “Man of God” because he was devout and pious. But, what is the truth about this young man? What is behind his visit to the village? Could this “Man of God” be Satan himself? Is it possible that Satan too has tears?

The session starts at 16:00 hrs. at the BA Arts and Multimedia Library. Participants should register their names at the General Information Desk at the Library entrance.
