Qatar Participates for the First Time in the Sixth Alexandrina International Book Fair

Qatar participates for the first time this year in the Sixth Alexandrina International Book Fair with a huge pavilion containing several publications covering all aspects of human intellect.
Nasser Hussein Shoukry, Head of Acquisition Department, The National Council for Culture, Arts, and Heritage in Qatar, stated that the Council participates in the Fair for the first time, as part of the cooperation protocol signed between the BA and the Council. The agreement stipulates for several joint projects, latest of which was the translation of Ibn Khaldun: the Mediterranean in the 14 Century: the Rise and Fall of Empires book.
He added that Qatar’s participation will increase in the coming rounds of the Alexandrina International Book Fair, especially after the success of this year’s fair in terms of the number of participating countries and visitors.
