Interact with Today’s World

Alexandria, 7 February 2005—Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA), will be inaugurating the scientific conference, organized by the Planetarium Science Center (PSC) at BA, in collaboration with Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Egypt, entitled Interact with Today’s World, on 11 February 2005.

The conference is within the framework of preparations for the Einstein Symposium, to take place in June 2005. Over the course of two days, there will be a number of interesting lectures, with the first day’s lectures shedding light on Work ethics, and on latest technological advances such as Artificial intelligence and human-machine interfacing. The second day will feature lectures on human development and soft skills such as How to put your life goal, How to be an effective communicator, How to start your own business and How to build your charisma.

Participants in the conference include engineering professors from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, and the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, as well as human development specialists.
