Preparations for the Alexandrina International Book Fair

Alexandria, 7 February 2005—The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is currently preparing for the Alexandrina International Book Fair, which will take place from 16 February to 2 March 2005, at Kouta Land, next to BA.
Special precautions are being taken to prevent the effect of any weather instability on the book fair. The cultural activities associated with the book fair will be held at the BA Conference Center. This year’s activities will focus on Women and Children.
The Alexandrina International Book Fair is organized by BA in collaboration with the Union of Egyptian Publishers. There will be booths for publishing and printing houses from France, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates.
