BA Director Takes Part in the Committee Meetings of the “Great Arab Minds” Initiative

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, took part in the committee meetings of the "Great Arab Minds" initiative, which was held in Dubai, from 4 – 6 April 2023.
“Great Arab Minds” is the largest scientific movement in the Arab world. It is designed to seek and identify Great Minds in the Arab world, from the exceptional talents of scholars, intellectuals, inventors, innovators and Arab creators in various fields, in order to care for them, empower them and develop their ideas in collaboration with the best global partners, while maximizing their positive impact in the region.
The visit included a tour of the facilities of Area 2071 and the Museum of the Future. The BA Director also visited the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation.
