The “Arts of Photography Show” Exhibition

The BA Arts Center holds “Arts of Photography Show” Exhibition from 15 to 31 March 2012, featuring works by Photographer Teodar Pantea from Romania and Egyptian Photographer Ayman Lotfy.

The Opening takes place on Thursday, 15 March at 2:30 pm. A lecture entitled “Arts of Photography” is held at 3:30 pm.

Teodor Pantea works revolve around the idea of extinction over time. Through his shots, he recorded great old trains that he used to watch during his childhood, which, years later, he photographed before they were sold as scrap instead of being shown in a museum as he had hoped.

Ayman Lotfy is an Egyptian artist, who has been always concerned with the spirit of the person he photographs. He is known for his ability to highlight the internal features of the person. By mixing photography with other graphic art tools, he managed to present works that have opened new horizons for photography in Egypt and the World.

The Exhibition is open for public daily from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, except Fridays.
