Intellectuals Meeting at the BA

Alexandria— The BA organizes on 29 and 30 December 2009 the Annual Intellectuals Meeting, stemming from the BA’s firm belief in the significant role played by intellectuals in supporting its mission.
The Meeting features outstanding Egyptian intellectuals, thinkers and scientists to review the BA achievements and activities over the year, and discuss future action plans and initiatives. Participants will also discuss the future of culture in Egypt, in the shadow of the different challenges that we currently face.
Dr. Akrama Sabri, Head of the Higher Islamic Board in Jerusalem, and Imam of Aqsa Mosque, gives a lecture on the fringe lines of the Meeting about the risks facings Aqsa Mosque and other holy places in the city.
