A Group of Intellectuals and Men of the Letters Meet at the Alexandrina International Book Fair Visitors

Alexandria—the Alexandrina International Book Fair will organize several cultural events to enhance the relation between men of letters and their audience. The Fair visitors will meet daily from 17:00 hrs until 19:00 hrs with a group of intellectuals and men of lettersin a discussion on their literary works.

Dr. Khaled Azab, Director of the BA Media Department stated that the fair will include several seminars and signing ceremonies to create a friendly environment between intellectuals, men of letters, and audience. The fair this year will also feature a series of intellectual, scientific, and literary debates between Egyptian and Arab intellectuals to discuss pressing issues on the international and Arab arena.

In this context, the Fair will host Mohamed El-Salmawy in a seminar to sign his book "Naguib Mahfouz: Last Station". Fahmy Howaidy will sign his latest works in a seminar discussing urgent political issues. Gamal El-Ghitany will sign his novel "Al-Zewail" in a seminar on the features of the Arabic Novel. Alaa El-Aswany will sign his novel "Chicago" in a debate on the novel. The Fair will also host Khaled Al-Khamisy, who will sign his book "Taxi: Taxi Rides Stories" in an open discussion on the classification of the literary text.
