The President of Cyprus at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA)

Alexandria — HE Tassos Papadopoulos, President of Cyprus, visited the BA last Saturday,
6 MAY 2006, accompanied by the Cypriot Minister of Transportation and a delegation of senior officials. The delegation presented a valuable donation to the BA amounting to 320 historical and literary books.
Ambassador Taher Khalifa, Head of the BA External Relations Sector accompanied the delegation in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors.
