In celebration of the World Arabic Language Day, the BA Manuscripts Center is organizing a three-part academic seminar titled “Our Beautiful Language and the Issues of Our Time” to discuss the topic of modernizing language and the attempts made to renew Arabic grammar. The third seminar will celebrate the Arabic poet Farouk Shousha.
An elite group of university professors, poets, and journalists will take part in the seminar that is held in keeping with the Center’s keen interest in Arab heritage. An exhibition dedicated to the works of the Dean of Arabic Calligraphers Sayyed Ibrahim will be held alongside the seminar to highlight the great legacy of rare artworks he left behind that are celebrated around the world.
